My name is Alok and I identify as a romantic queer desi scholar activist artist. I am currently a junior at Stanford University studying Queer Studies and Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. I will use this blog to share my thoughts on issues (including, but not limited to) queer politics/theory, transgenderism, (a)sexuality, race, (dis)ability, post-colonialism, capitalism, speciesism, feminism, diaspora, fashion, art, and activist methodology.
